Code For Kids is a not-for-profit organization that aims to teach children ages 7-13 the basics of computer programming. Code for Kids holds events in various cities around Canada including Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. At each event, various programming languages such as Scratch and Ruby are used to teach the students about technology and computer programming.
This year, Code For Kids is running events in the Waterloo/Kitchener region. Lab space at the University of Waterloo has been secured to host the first set of events on Saturday, September 27, 2014.
