• This is the 25th year for Explorations which is held annually on the Monday evening of March Break. This year, the Explorations 2016 event is being held on the evening of Monday, March 14th, for students in Grades 6-8.

  • the school. Online registration is preferred.
  • This event provides an opportunity to excite students about engineering in hopes of sparking an interest in continuing their math and science studies throughout high school, to provide the public with an opportunity to see what we do at the
  • University of Waterloo in the Faculty of Engineering. This event is free of cost.
  • At Explorations about 1000 students and their parents are taken on tours of Engineering displays (lasting about an hour and a half). Each visitor sees 6 displays from a mix of departments within Engineering.
  • Although we can accommodate a large number of students on the tours space is limited and we do regularly reach the limit, so students should also be made aware that the application deadline Is Monday February 29, 2016
