May 5 is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S). We ask that the WRDSB community pause to remember and honour the thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ People in Canada.

To recognize this day, flags at the WRDSB Education Centre will be flown at half-mast tomorrow.
